This PlayStation 5 restock on February 7 is different: Heres how

Sony is restocking PlayStation 5 in India on February 7 at 12 pm via Amazon. It is supposed to go on pre-order the same day. The February restock brings the God of War Ragnarök Bundle as well as a standalone PS5 disc version. This makes it different from the last time wherein buyers were forced to buy only the PS5 Horizon Forbidden West bundle regardless of what variant they wanted.

However, the prices for the PS5 have changed after the November hike. So, the prices for the base model will come down to Rs 54,990 now. If you're planning to purchase The God of War Ragnarök bundle, you will have to shell out Rs. 59,390. This is Rs. 5,400 more than the Horizon Forbidden West bundle which was priced at Rs. 53,990 in August 2022.

In November last year, Sony India raised the prices of its current generation console by 12.5% which has resulted in higher price points for the bundles. Hence, a standalone PS5 Digital Edition would cost Rs. 44,990 and at the same time, the beefier disc variant would be Rs. 54,990.

However, it must be noted that there hasn't been a price hike for the accessories for PS5.

Sony has not provided any details on the bundles yet. However, according to a report by Gadgets360, it is expected to include a digital download code for the bundled game. We can presently see the pre-order advertisements on Reliance Digital, e2z Store, and the Sony Center website. It is expected that the new PS5 launch will go live for pre-order on websites such as Amazon, Croma, Flipkart, Gameloot, and Vijay Sales.

PlayStation's CEO Jim Ryan had promised that there wouldn't be a problem with the shortage of PS5 supply this time. One should note that there is no clarification if this applies to the Indian market as well. Users are therefore advised to be prepared on the pre-order date because the consoles go out of stock pretty soon, as soon previously as well.
