Although a Vivo foldable phone has been known to be in the works for some time, this year, it may finally see the daylight. Earlier some reports were suggesting the launch of this Vivo folding phone last year, but perhaps due to the chip crunch, that didn’t happen. Anyways, a fresh leak from Digital Chat Station (through Gizmochina) has revealed the device’s expected specs. This also gives us a loose picture of what this thing might look like. But first things first, it is rumoured to be called Vivo X Fold.
So, your mind must have linked back to the other two popular foldable namely — the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and the Oppo Find N. Let’s see how the Vivo X Fold might compare to those based on the bread crumbs we have with us now.
Vivo X Fold Specs and Features (Expected)Vivo X Fold may have a book-shaped design with a 6.5-inch cover screen. The inner display is said to be an 8-inch panel. Both are expected to be FHD+ in resolution and 120Hz in refresh rate.
As per leaks, on the main display towards the right-hand side, there will be a hole-punch housing the front camera. The sensor details of this and the cover screen camera is unknown. Meanwhile, at the back, there will be quad camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter, a 48MP ultrawide snapper, a 12MP telephoto with 2x zoom and an 8MP telephoto with 5x zoom.
Inside, the device will be having a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor coupled with a 4600mAh battery. There may be support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
